David Carrington is the founder and Managing Director of Skillington Workshop Limited, who recently finished the conservation work on the Hardingstone Eleanor Cross. In this lecture to the Northamptonshire Battlefields Society, he will share his insights into conserving Northampton’s nationally important monument. After so much campaigning and controversy it was wonderful to see the Cross finally unveiled in November 2019. The completion of the work has also raised many questions, so this should be a very informative and popular event.
