The Church Monuments Society is for everyone who is interested in tomb carvings. We cover every period from the early medieval to the very modern, in Britain and elsewhere. Members receive the Journal and regular newsletters and get discounts on excursions and other events.
We organise a range of events – excursions, study days and conferences – at which you can meet other members and share ideas. Forthcoming events include our biennial symposium in Hereford in September.
We organise an annual competition for either church guide books, photographs of monuments, or essays suitable for the journal Church Monuments.
