Jonty Trigg has written on a wide variety of topics related to British and conflict history and archaeology and his interests range from prehistoric Britain, commemoration (particularly of conflict) and the history of archaeology. He was based at the University of Liverpool from 1999-2021. He has excavated widely in Britain on sites of all periods and is currently researching the landscape around Bidston Hill.
