Sally Badham, MBE, FSA, is former President of the Society and is now a VP. She is a retired Whitehall civil servant whose passion for most of her adult life has been churchcrawling and studying church monuments, particularly those from the medieval period. She has published 11 books and other monographs, most recently Seeking Salvation: Commemorating the Dead in the Late-Medieval English Parish (Donington, 2015). Now disabled, she can rarely visit churches but frequently contributes article to various journals and the CMS website.
