Jerome Bertram was one of the great pioneers of our subject. To mark his important contribution to the study of brasses and church monuments a Festschrift has been prepared as a tribute and to commemorate his inspiration, friendship and advice over many years. The volume will be published by Shaun Tyas Publishing in the autumn of 2019.

The sad news of Jerome Bertram’s death means this is now a commemorative volume. He saw the book in course of production, and was pleased with it.
