This is another of the war memorials in our catch-up for June.
At Borth, near Aberystwyth, on the headland overlooking Cardigan Bay, is this memorial made of massive rough-hewn stone blocks. It was damaged by lightning in 1983 but rapidly reconstructed by public subscription. The north-east side has plaques recording the dead of both world wars and above them a separate plaque recording the reconstruction in 1984.
