Dirk Visser is a semi-retired solid state Physicist-Chemist. He taught and presently researches as Visiting Research Fellow at Loughborough University. He was involved in science administration and science promotion at large international science infrastructure facilities. His research focuses on the material science of archaeological material and art objects as well as their production methods. He has been associated with the CMS and MBS for the last 25 years.
