This tour will visit churches in Mid- and South Warwickshire: Bishop’s Tachbrook (Wagstaffe monuments by Cartwright, Andrew Carpenter and Edward Stanton); Chesterton (Peyto monuments by Hollemans, and Nicholas Stone, and John Stone); Compton Verney (the Verney monuments in the restored chapel by Nicholas Stone, Caius Cibber, Edward Marshall and Richard Westmacott I); Charlecote (the Lucy tombs by James and John Schorman, and perhaps by Bartholomew Attye and Isaac James); Honington (attributed to William Palmer, and by Sir Robert Taylor and Sir Richard Westmacott); and the Shirley and Ferrers monuments in the mausoleum at Ettington Park, including works by Nicholas Stone and J F Moore.
